“I did my first set at Balmain Leagues Club and loved it. When I was 60 my friends urged me to enter Australia’s Got Talent (which was asking for seniors to apply) and I progressed through to performing at the Sydney Opera House. It was the best night of my life. My third set was when I was invited to Melbourne to do a gig for a book launch, and that was awesome too. I live in Maryborough, Queensland, and although in my later 60s now, I’m hoping to establish a comedy venue here.”
