“I co-wrote jokes for the number-one breakfast radio programme, worked in TV shows, commercials and films and created a comedy club before I went to Japan, where I learned to juggle, do magic, make balloon animals and speak Japanese. Three months after arriving in Japan, I won the equivalent of a thousand dollars for a three-minute comedy street performance and was put on a TV show, where I was dubbed a master street performer. I became a guest on talk shows, and acted in a sitcom, in commercials, and in stage plays and films. I created the first juggling club in Japan, built a studio/theatre, where I taught theatre improvisation in English and Japanese, ran juggling workshops, produced improv shows and performance competitions.”
